The flower sellers were fined with approximately one million lei. Most often, they didn't offer a check for the goods they were selling.

To prevent this risk, the State Fiscal Service initiated an information campaign. Till May 31, the flower sellers will be monitored by inspectors. They intend to control ten markets from Capital.
"The activity targets to make the flower sellers obey the law", said Sergiu Puscuta, the chief of the Fiscal State Service.
The sellers say that they obey all the rules:
"I give the bill to all my customers. I even faced fines worth 5 000 lei."
"We obey the law."
If sellers don't give the bill to the customers, they risk a fine between 5 000 and 7 000 lei.
