The storm from two days before has destroyed agricultural crops, damaged roads and flooded households in several settlements from the country. Significant damages were also registered in Comrat.

The weather affected 120 hectares of melons, 200 hectares of corn and sunflower, over 30 hectares of vineyards and 45 hectares of corn. It also caused troubles to people living in Ialoveni, Hânceşti, Orhei, as well as Chişinău.

Rescuers were called in multiple time to pump out the water from yards and households. A commission is working to establish the damages.
