From the three children she has, two of them she born in the ambulance. It's Ana Nica's story from Straseni district. The 25 years old woman born this week a 2,5 kilograms boy. The little one had no patience to the hospital, so the nurses in the car helped the young mother and it all went as far as the book.
"I called at ten, four, and until the salvation came, I would have stayed for about five minutes, I was going to be home." We started and I did not get to it, I knew early birth was from 36 weeks and I say, maybe it's not the birth", said Ana Nica, patient.
Six years ago, Ana lived a similar experience with her second child. Doctors say that the patient had a quick labor, and the birth took only a few minutes. Mom and child feel good, but, however, experts warn that such experiences involve more risks.
"Car and home births are very dangerous and are caused by complications from both the mother, such as bleeding, obstetrical trauma, and from the fetus such as hypothermia, acute hypoxia and trauma, and so on", said Mariana Postica, head of the obstetrics-gynecology department, Straseni District Hospital.
Since the beginning of this year, four women have been born in ambulance.
