Five pupils from Staresni showed courage when they prevented a tragedy. They saved a child aged of two who was staying at the balcony of a five floors apartment.

The boys received diplomas for their gesture.

While they returned from school, the pupils of the 9th grade noticed that the boy is alone. The teenagers alerted 112 service who came and took the child out of the balcony.

The kid was not home alone, his grandfather was also home.

"We appreciate this gesture. The boys mobilized and thus they avoided a tragedy", said Ghenadie malic, the chief of Straseni Police Inspectorate.

The teens thanked the Police Inspectorate for diplomas. Two of them said they want to become policemen.
