Students discuss their problems with PDM leader Marian Lupu
Over 200 young Democrats attended the Forum of the Democrat Students League from Moldova yesterday.
The members of the student organizations from the largest universities met with PDM leader Marian Lupu. The event took place at a holiday resort in Vadul lui Vodă.
They discussed about the students’ problems and youth policies. The young people had the opportunity with talk with the leaders of the Democratic Party and learn answers to various questions.
''There were questions related to education, living conditions in dormitories and job opportunities on graduation. I have been very impressed with the content of the discussions," a student said.
''The Democratic Party is a force, the power and everything we want for a more prosperous future for Moldova," a young man said.
The event was attended by Democrat MPs Sergiu Sîrbu, Constantin Ţuţu, Eugen Nichiforciuc, and Youth and Sports Minister Victor Zubcu.
PDM leader Marian Lupu expressed his belief the young people would support Moldova’s European course: ''It’s been a productive discussion, the youths have asked many profound questions, very interesting, substantial. Those questions have made our dialogue very professional.”
The Democratic Party from Moldova has the largest number of young members: over 10,000.
