The 32 year old suspect of Teodor Taranu's murder was arrested for 30 days. The decision belongs to the Chisinau Court.

"The accusation was filed on July 1 and the application for preventive arrest was applied for up to 30 days", said Sergiu Zeama, prosecutor.

The guilty refused to comment on the situation.

The lawyer of the suspect says that he recognized his guilt and regrets about what happened.

"-Did he recognize his guilt? -Yes -Where did he take the gun from? -He was keeping it legally."

The reporters of Guard Unit TV show from Canal 3 discussed with the suspect on the night of the crime. While talking, he didn't understand he killed somebody.

The crime was committed at the end of the last week in the apartment of the suspect. According to the police, the gun was legally kept by the suspect.

If found guilty, the man risks up to 15 years behind bars.
