Suspended mayor of Capital remains under judicial control
The suspended mayor of Capital, Dorin Chirtoaca remains under judicial control. The decision was taken by Buiucani Court, after the Anti-corruption prosecutors asked to extend this measure with other 30 days.
Thus, Chirtoaca can go anywhere in the country, but he doesn't have the possibility to leave it. Dorin Chirtoaca was detained by Anti corruption prosecutors and officers on May 26.
He is accused of traffic of influence in the case of paid parking places.
Chirtoaca risks up to seven years in prison, but, he says he is not guilty.
At the same time, in this case he is suspected of breaching service duties.
