Bad luck for prisoners and serious sanctions for those who risk breaking the law for their sake. Employees of two penitentiaries in the country countered new attempts to introduce prohibited articles and substances into detention facilities.
This is the Prison No. 1 in Taraclia, where yesterday, around 21:00, unknown people threw over the guard buildings of the jail, a spherical object. High and subjected to an inspection, an unknown drug-specific drug smell was found inside.
A second case was recorded shortly after midnight at Prison No. 4 in Cricova. While the guards checked the territory, they noticed a suspicious package appeared over the walls of the prison, inside which was a cell phone and two SIM cards.
The parcels did not reach the prisoners, being picked up and sent to the Police Inspectorates within the penitentiary institutions.
Policemen officials are to identify the perpetrators to be held accountable.
