Swine fever was discovered in a household from Palanca village, Ștefan Vodă district. Laboratory tests have confirmed the presence of the virus.

Earlier, at Ștefan Vodă took place a meeting of Exceptional Antiepithetics Commission Ştefan, led by the President of the District Council, who elaborated a Plan of measures to combat and eradicate the outbreak.

The epidemiological inquiry is ongoing, being made by a group of experts from the territorial subdivision of ANSA at Ștefan Vodă, in collaboration with other competent institutions.

To avoid swine fever outbreak, ANSA, through territorial structure, is constantly monitoring the situation to avoid the virus being spread and completely eradicate it.
