The development of the commercial relationship and the investments were the main subjects discussed by Tatiana Molcean, within her visit to the USA. Tatiana Molcean held a meeting with Betsy Hafner, the deputy assistant of the USA for Commerce and the representatives of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation.

The officials discussed about the relationship between Moldova and the US and approved the cooperation on the Strategic Dialogue between the countries. The American officials welcomed the efforts supported by the Republic of Moldova officials to implement the reforms.

Within the discussions, they highlighted the importance of the official meetings to the US and the permanent communication between the Capitals.

The State Department appreciated the results of the 5+2 negotiations and determined the national authorities to find a way in solving the transnistrean conflict. At the same time, they remarked the importance to continue cooperating on the multi lateral dimension.
