Today, State Secretary Tatiana Molcean held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Republic of Moldova residing in Bucharest, Thanglura Darlong.

The meeting highlighted the ascendant stage of the Moldovan-Indian relationship, emphasizing the importance of political dialogue at all levels, supporting the development of economic and cultural exchanges between the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of India. It was agreed that sectoral dialogue should be amplified, and that the education field is also among the priorities. The discussion also highlighted the very good cooperation between countries in multilateral areas.

The interlocutors noted the benefits of capitalizing and diversifying cooperation across multiple domains, encouraging for this purpose the direct dialogue between the institutions. It also highlighted the need to continue the negotiation of draft bilateral agreements aimed at opening up new ways of cooperation in commercial, economic, agricultural, pharmaceutical, information technology, civil aviation and others.
