Six administrators of four taxi companies from Chisinau and Balti were detained yesterday on suspicion of tax evasion.

The amount of the damage to the state budget is assessed at MDL15 million.

Prosecutors raided their offices and houses yesterday. Prosecutor Vitalie Busuioc has said the taxi companies were managed by members of a criminal group, who had been employees of the Interior Ministry.
