A 17-year-old teenager from the Capital was arrested on the suspicion of stealing two cars. Supposedly he took a Renault Megane and Volkswagen Golf 3, having abandoned both vehicles and taking them for a walk.

According to the law enforcement, the first car is works nearly 42 thousand lei and was taken from the yard of an apartment block on Drumul Viilor Street, it belongs to a 28-year-old man. The suspect has entered the car after breaking the lock and started it up by connecting the electric wires. The car was then found abandoned at the edge of a street from the Capital.

The second was was stolen from Ialoveni street, using the same method and was found left not far from the crime scene.

Two cases were opened on this incident. If found guilty he risks an 11 600 to 27 000 lei fine, or up to 3 years of imprisonment.

Earlier, the teenagers was implicated in at least 10 other car thefts from Centru sector of the Capital, as well as stealing goods from cars.
