Alcohol makes new victims on the national roads. Two cars crashed and a driver was transported to the hospital, after a drunk man from Orhei breached the driving rules.

According to the police, the admissible alcohol limit expired 10 times. The accident occurred yesterday near Mitoc village. The drunk driver didn't let another car to overpass it. As a result, the car crashed.

The driver who was not guilty was transported to Orhei district hospital.

"When he arrived here he didn't require emergency medical case, so he was transported back home", said Andrei Stratulat, the chief of Orhei district hospital.

The man who caused the accident received a penal care for drunk driving. He risks a fine of 42 thousand lei, 240 hours of unpaid work or up to five years in prison.

Recently, the National Patrol Inspectorate proposed the Government to make higher fines for the drunk drivers. More exactly, to pass the exams for the driving license once again. Last year, 6 445 drivers were caught drunk while driving.
