Many Moldovan citizens continue to throw trash on la lands, which is forbidden by law. In Negureni village from Telenesti district people turned a land into a trash bin. The trash is even thrown away near the road that leads to Orhei.

"It is dangerous for the trash bin to be placed here, because there are many groundwater resources here."

"It is not normal for the trash to be placed on the edge of the road.

The local authorities say that they arranged a trash bin a couple of years ago, but people continue to throw the trash wherever they want.

"They throw the trash wherever they wish. It is very bad", said Lilia Stamati, secretary of Negureni local council.  

The ecologists say that the trash damages the ecology.

"The insects and rats that will appear here will infect the soil and then will go in the village", said Vladimir Garaba, ecologist.

In order to solve this problem, the City Hall of the village says that they will build a trash bin closer to the village.
