Terrifying case in Nisporeni! Four children abandoned by their own mother
Four children aged of eight months, six, eight and 13 years were abandoned by their mother. The woman disappeared a few days ago and nobody knows where she might be. The incident took place in a village from Nisporeni district. The children, two boys and two girls were found in terrible conditions by a nurse from the village. Now, two of the children are hospitalized in the regional hospital of Nisporeni, while the other two stay with their relatives.
The eight year old girl who is hospitalized in the Nisporeni hospital tells she hasn't seen her mother for two weeks. "
My mother wasn't home and I told the nurse that our mother is missing for two weeks. She told me she is going to talk with a relative and she didn't return.I was staying home with my eight months old brother when the nurse from the village came and wanted my mother to go to the hospital to vaccinate my brother.
Tho girl also said she was taking care of her eight months old brother. Her elder, 13 year old sister also left.
''It was hard, but I didn't left him as my mother and my sister did."
On the other side, the nurse said she found the children home alone three days ago. The elder sister announced the mother she is working unemployed. She returned home and found out the mother is missing and called the ambulance to take the children to the hospital. The doctor also says he visits the children often, as their mother used to leave them alone.
''The children were staying in home, in a total disaster, surrounded by dirty clothes. The youngest child was crying. I asked the girl if he had eaten and she replied they haven't eaten at all today'', said Alina Popescu, nurse.
The mayor of the village said he knew about the situation of the four children and he offered them a social and material help. All together, the teachers and the nurse decided to give another chance to the woman.
''Obviously, she was beating them. It is not that right for her to lose the right of being a parent, but, anyway, I think this is the last stage", said Constantin Ungureanu, the mayor of the village.
The neighbors say the woman had a bad behavior, she was often going to other men, this is why the children were helping her with the household.
"I was going to feed them. I was preparing rise or porridge. On evening, I was making them biscuits. I was so sorry about, especially of the eight months year old one.''
The father of the children works abroad, tomorrow he will return back home. As the neighbors say, the woman run away from home, because she was afraid of her husband.
''Many times, my husband went to search for her and found her at a homeless. When we found out she disappeared, we went to search for her to the same homeless. He said he saw her a couple of days ago, she said her husband is coming back home and she is afraid of him, this is why she left to Nisporeni. He also said that sometimes her children were starving and coming to him, they were eating everything.''
From the neighbors' sayings, the woman also had a child who died after chocked with her milk. According to the mayor of the village, the decision according to the further fate of the four children will be taken when their father arrives in Moldova.
