The Defense Minister Pavel Voicu had today a meeting with the Russian Federation ambassador in RM, Oleg Vasnetov. The officials discussed about the collaboration between Moldova and Russia on the defense dimension, regional situation and other themes of common interest, announces a press-communicate of the Ministry.
Pavel Voicu informed the ambassador Vasnetov about his mandate's priorities, which will be focused on the sectorial reform, 'Professionial Army' program implementation, National Army's participation intensification in the peace-making operations and cooperation with the international organizations and partners of the defense institution.
At his turn, Vasnetov greeted Voicu on the occasion of promoting into the function, specifying that his country is open for collaboration with the defense institution of RM.
At the end, Pavel Voicu and Oleg Vasnetov convened upon launching a dialogue between the Defense Ministry of RM and Russian Federation's one and identifying of some cooperating area, good for both countries.
