The reasons MP Iurie Renita likely to quit PPDA faction
MP Iurie Renita announced on Tuesday he could leave the faction of DA party, but the final decision will be taken after the 20 October elections.
He noted he had notified his colleagues about complaints on foreign policy in the last period. He said he supports the disappointments previously announced by MPs Octavian Ticu and Lilian Carp.
He noted that lately serious blunders have been committed in foreign policy.
"Maia Sandu allowed Igor Dodon to go to the UN, I think it is a big mistake. I wanted to get involved in the processes related to foreign policy, but also the activity of MAEIE. I hope we will continue to work together. However, if the foreign policy remains unchanged, I do not exclude that our diplomatic paths will be different", said Iurie Reniță.
Moreover, he mentioned the agreements with the Socialists.
"The agreement was not implemented totally. I have been reluctant with the new agreement which Igor dodon will be unlikely to respect. Dodon managed to monopolize the foreign policy agenda only in three months. His involvement is anti-constitutional. He's a anti-national president who serves the Russian interests, not ours", added Reniță.
On September 18, MP Octavian Țîcu left DA Platform, ACUM, group but remained within the ACUM bloc as an independent MP. He has registered in the local elections to run for Chisinau Mayor.
He explained that he disagreed with agreements and grievances made by PAS-DA with Socialist Party, the appointments to some positions including of Vladimir Ţurcan who was elected Constitutional Court president.
