The renovation work of the stairs from Valea Morilor park is ongoing.

The representatives of the No.1 sector City Hall from Bucharest who allocated 920 thousand Euro went on the building site and checked it.

"Yesterday, we put the asphalt, today we continue the other work."

The granite stairs will be repaired and installed back. The company that repairs the stairs says that the finished work will look like it looked 68 years ago.

"We are at the first stage now. The stairs have already been demolished. Now, we put the cement and prepare to install the stairs", said Alexandru Dragomir.

The Bucharest authorities are glad about the way the work is executed.

"Now, we found out that the work is made according to the schedule, moreover, we will finish a month earlier. This project is of a high quality, this is why it will take a couple of months to be finished", said Razvan Munteanu, the chief of Bucharest Investment Direction.

Ruslan Codreanu said that the project will be finished by July 2019.

"We allocated 3,5 million lei. We will also built a parallel side for the mothers and old people", said Ruslan Codreanu, the interim of Chisinau.

The Capital residents are glad that the park will look great after the work will be finished. 

"I remember when the stairs were repaired for the first time, it was so beautiful."

The stairs from Valea Morilor park were built in 1950 and haven't been renovated since then.
