At today's meeting, the Government approved the draft Government Decision on the initiation of negotiations on the draft Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Moldova and the Government of Turkmenistan on international road transport and the granting of powers to negotiate it.

"The provisions of this Agreement shall apply to the carriage of persons and goods by means of means of transport registered in the Republic of Moldova and Turkmenistan, in direct traffic between States in transit through their territories as well as transport to or from a third country. Also, the signing of the Agreement will contribute to strengthening diplomatic and economic relations, favoring the investment climate between the Republic of Moldova and Turkmenistan", said Economy and Infrastructure Minister Chiril Gaburici.

For the negotiation of the draft text of the Agreement, the official delegation headed by the State Secretariat of the branch will be empowered.
