The wealth of a Straseni town hunter: wild ducks, owls and wild boars
Pheasants, wild ducks, owls, wild boars and deer. This is the greatest wealth that has Ion Sarbu, a hunter from Straseni town.
The office of the man is full of hunting trophies. Ion Sirbu has been a hunter for nearly 50 years and has inherited the profession from his father. The man says hunting is a disease that can not be treated. Thus, his office has come to look like a real museum.
The hunter remembers the smallest details up to date about the experience.
For more than 25 years hunting of deers in our country is prohibited. Only the trophies kept in his office remember him those times.
The man says he would like a wildcat, a marten, a dove and a gray goose. But for more than five years Ion Sarbu's collection was not enriched with any copies. That's because the best people who do the taxidermy have left the country, but also because of high prices.
Hunting an animal or a bird costs between 50 and 1,000 euros.
