The doctors from the Republican Hospital performed, for the first time, heart surgery of three sisters. Alexandrina, Anastasia and Nicoleta have less than three years. Immediately after birth, the specialists found a congenital heart disease in them, but they decided to wait until the little girls would grow up a bit and catch up. The mother of little children, who is a resident physician, says one of the causes of health problems in girls is their premature birth, so the arterial canal has remained permeable.

"For 90 percent of children, the canal remains permissible. We tried through the medication method, it was not resolved and we already went through the surgical method," said Elena Robu, the mother of the three little girls.

The girls' mother says they have gone through these attempts and supported each other.

"In Alexandria and Anastasia, we wanted to stretch our hands and bring them, for our parents was enormous joy," said Elena Robu, the mother of the three little girls.

Doctors Liviu Maniuc and Nichifor Şciuca performed the surgery and removed the cardiopathy. They say that such a surgery to three twins was made for the first time.

"We had to do this so that we could organize it so that the recovery would be as fast as a single child with the same pathology," said Nichifor Şciuca, a cardiologist surgeon.

Now the twin sisters have to go through a rehabilitation period.

"We and parents tell you - you already have healthy children, I am referring to the pathology, if they wish they can practice the dancing," said Nichifor Şciuca, a cardiologist surgeon.

"We do not have to go abroad, surgery is done on the shelf, it is only necessary to get the right from the family doctor," said Elena Robu, the mother of the three little girls.

Since the beginning of this year, Republican Hospital "Timofei Mosneaga" has performed 212 heart surgery in children. The smallest patient was only a few hours after birth.
