1,000 employees from the private companies could benefit from First House 4 program, according to the Ministry of Finance. Applicants must submit an online application on Ministry's website and payments are calculated based on the official salary.

Credits are granted for housing worth no more than 600,000 lei. Finance Minister Ion Chicu made an estimate for a potential beneficiary in the Capital.

"The credit can reach to 540,000 lei maximum. 10% will be the person's contribution. 50% of 540,000 lei is 270,000 lei. Let's divide it into 25 years (300 months), so the person will pay 900 lei per month", said Finance Minister Ion Chicu.

Support for people who buy an apartment/house outside Chisinau is bigger, 15% of the person's salary. 

"If the person has salary of 6000 lei, then the monthly support will be 900 lei", said the official.

People benefiting from First House 1 or First House 3 can also apply for First House 4. The program was initially launched in March last year. Moldovan people aged up to 45 can buy a house worth less than 1 million lei.
