Three men with ages of 28, 37 and 46, originating from Singerei district and Balti municipality, were detained by the police, suspected of drug trafficking and the illegal keeping of weapons and ammunition.
Thus, for six months, officers of the Police Inspectorate Singerei documented the criminal activity of the drug-marketing group, namely marijuana in particularly large proportions, on the territory of Singerei rayon.
At the same time, four purchases were carried out and drugs were purchased from suspects. Thus, conclusive evidence has been accumulated over individuals.
Following searches on September 7, law enforcement officers traced and raised from men's homes 1.3 kg of marjoram, 3 flat-bladed shooting guns, 3 handicraft craft and 107 cartridges.
Being audited, one of the suspects told the law people that marijuana was planted, groomed and then prepared at its own home for marketing.
In this case, a criminal case was initiated for the illegal circulation of narcotic substances in particularly large proportions with a purpose of alienation.
At the moment, the 36 years old is detained for 72 hours, and the other two suspects are being prosecuted in a state of freedom. If they are found guilty, they risk to stay between 7 and 15 years in jail.
