Three persons accused of blackmail and death threat detained by police in Straseni
Three men from Straseni have been detained by police, being suspected for blackmail and death threat.
According to information, the victim, a 22-year-old man, was taken by force by three persons, put into a car, and brought to a sector in Straseni district, where he was threatened with death with a gun of unidentified model under an invented pretext like stealing the gold jewelry of their cousin and told to give 5,000 lei in two weeks.
The leader of the gang was detained while he was receiving the 5,000 lei from the victim.
The suspects were detained by police for 72 hours.
As a result of body searches and car search, were found the money received from the victim and a pneumatic gun.
According to legislation in force, the persons guilty of blackmail are punished with jail from 7 to 10 years.
