The so-called Supreme Soviet from Tiraspol wants to reduce the number of deputies from 43 to 33.

According to the left bank of Nistru press, the initiative aims to reduce the costs within the local institutions. The authors of the draft law calculated that the costs will be reduced by 20%.

We remind that the last Sunday referendum organized by the constitutional authorities proved that the majority of the Moldovans voted to reduce the deputies from 101 to 61 and dismiss the ones who don't obey their responsibilities. The referendum idea belongs to the Democratic Party from Moldova.
