Today in Chisinau is celebrated the International Day against drug abuse and illicit traffic. According to statistical data, in our country, every year, the number of drug abusers increase with over a thousand, the majority of them being young people up to 30 years old.

If in 2014 were registered 24 cases at 100,000 people, in 2015 the number increased to 26.

Now, approximately 10,000 people are under medical supervision.

The data also shows that in Europe, every year are dying up to 20,000 opiate consumers.

The most taken drug is cannabis, followed by cocaine and amphetamine.

In the context of the International Day against drugs, in Valea Morilor Park will be organized a marathon with the title “Together for life”.
