TOXIC smell from landfill in north of country. Number of sick people INCREASES

Over half a century people in the north of Moldova have been living near a toxic landfill dump.
Locals say they are afraid of drinking water and eating fruits from their own gardens. Both environmentalist and doctors don't know what kind of substances are buried there.
The number of people suffering from different kinds of diseases is increasing.
The landfill covers over 20 hectares of area. Locals say the waste has been stored there for over 40 years.
It is way worse when is raining and the smell intensifies.
However, officials of the State Ecological Inspectorate say they know nothing about the landfill about Mindrestii Noi village.
