Trade relations between Moldova and Bulgaria are strengthening
Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Iurie Leanca declare that trade relations between Moldova and Bulgaria are strengthening, having reached in 2017, over 150 million USD, due to the Free Trade Agreement with EU.
The official paid a visit to Bulgaria where he met with various authorities. Iurie Leancă also spoke of achievement gained in bilateral projects on supporting Bulgarians from Moldova. Deputy Prime Minister reiterated the importance of informing people about the European investments made in villages where ethnic minorities live.
"I heard in Taraclia and several villages that after Bulgaria's adherence to EU, Bulgarian agriculture was ruined, industry no longer existed. All Bulgarian officials told me clearly, Bulgaria's adherence to EU bore only benefits. Especially for agriculture, the rural area, creating new jobs and enhancing the standard of living" Iurie Leancă declared.
At the moment, Bulgaria has Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Here, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Iurie Leanca spoke with officials from Sofia about strengthening Bulgaria's role in realizing the European path of Moldova.
