We mention that the participants at the Centenary March has met on the National Assembly Square to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Great Union.
They walked a 1.300 km distance, which consists 300 cities and villages from Romania and Moldova.
The Centenary March started on July 1 in Alba Iulia. After the representatives of the local authorities and the civil society from Romania and the Republic of Moldova ignited the Flame of the Union, in front of the Cathedral of the Reunification of the Nation, hundreds of demonstrators started marching by feet to Chisinau.
We remind you that a group of Romanians, participating in the Union Marsh, were allowed to enter the Republic of Moldova through the Leuşeni point. The Unionists came to customs on Monday. However, entry into Moldova was banned because of the inappropriate and provocative behavior of some people who refused to comply with the law.
