Traffic in Chisinau. What streets should be avoided this morning
Ismail, Calea Basarabiei and Vasile Lupu Streets are, as usual, the busiest in the morning. The patrol officers believe that the traffic is formed due to law breaking drivers, a bad infrastructure and a very big amounts of cars.
Those driving on Moscova and Kiev boulevard, or Aleccu Ruso Street, will find troubles passing the intersection which ties Râşcani with Ciocana. Traffic is formed here during rush hours, mostly due to multiple illegally parked cars.
Those passing Studenţilor Streets might spend dozens of minutes stuck in traffic:
"There is only one lane, which is not enough for the amount of cars trying to pass this Street"
On the Calea Moşilor Street, near the northern Bus Terminal, the movement is slow due to the number of cars, drivers say:
"It's complicating coming from Ciocana, new apartments blocks are being built everywhere, yet no new roads".
"This traffic that you see now lasts all day long".
"There is no rule, where is the police, nobody is working".
According to the National Patrol Inspectorate Ismail, Calea Orheiului, Pan Halippa, Calea Ieşilor, Vasile Lupu and Studenţilor are the busiest from the Capital. In order to avoid traffic, officers advise drivers to avoid those streets during rush hours.
"NPI recommends drivers to not park their cars in streets with only one lane, as it leads to traffic" InfoTrafic specialist from the NPI, Veaceslav Sechelu declared.
Republic of Moldova has over 900 thousands registered cars, 300 thousands of which are from the Capital.
