57 road accidents resulted in the death of five people and another 81 injured occurred between August 24 and September 2.
According to patrol inspectors, during the period concerned dozens of cars across the country were pulled to the right to check drivers who violate traffic rules. Thus, 118 drivers driving under the influence of alcohol were documented. Also, INP employees intervened in 332 requests from citizens.
At the same time, more than 4,200 drivers were caught while driving at excessive speed.
Drivers are urged to comply with traffic rules.
