The train trip to Odessa will be shorter by 40 minutes. In addition, passengers will also feel more comfortable. 

Ten days later, a modern lining, equipped with soft benches, TVs and an internet connection will be on the rails.

The new train will start from Chisinau at 8:11, and from Odessa - at 16:54.

The gasket can carry 260 passengers. The cost of the tickets will vary between 140 and 170 lei, depending on the level of comfort. Currently, people pay 180 lei for a trip.

The route was to be launched last year, but the Ukrainian side does not approve the tariff for the use of the railway.

The passenger train was upgraded in 2013 in Romania. Renovation costs over 2 million euros.
