The Parliament is convening today during the session. MPs will meet in plenary at 12. The event has been announced in advance, but the day agenda is kept in secret.
At the same time, this morning the members of the Legal Commission, Appointments and Immunities got in a meeting and discussed only one subject, the Prosecutor's Office reform. The event was also attended by Olesea Stamate, the Minister of Justice.

Last week, the Government approved the draft law on amending the provisions regarding the appointment of the Prosecutor General. The document provides the creation of a special commission that will pre-select the candidate for the future Prosecutor General.
