The issue of implementing e-trade on a global scale and funding programs has been discussed in Geneva by Foreign and European Integration Minister, Tudor Ulianovschi, as Chairman of the Trade and Development Council, with UNCTAD's Managing Director, Mukhisa Kituyi.Within the framework of the dialogue, Minister Ulianovschi presented the Council's work program, the measures taken to implement e-trade in the Member States and the actions planned for the future in order to develop this sphere.
Mukhisa Kituyi appreciated UNCTAD Trade and Development Council's activity, the positive developments in e-trade, as well as the programs and visions of its development.
The speakers agreed on the elaboration of a comprehensive report on the implementation and development aspects of e-trade to be presented to the United Nations General Assembly in April.
