Aspects of the development of Moldovan-American cooperation were discussed today at the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, with US Ambassador to Romania, James D. Pettit.
In this context, Tudor Ulianovschi and James Pettit had an exchange of views on the evolution of bilateral relations and the Moldovan-American strategic dialogue in the light of the recent visit to the US of Pavel Filip, where the officials discussed about several aspects of cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the USA.
During the dialogue, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi pointed out the main evolutions in the activity of MFAEI, highlighting the completion of the works of the Annual Meeting of Moldovan diplomacy, as well as the decision of the Government to create the Diplomatic Institute, which will allow the professional training of both the diplomatic corps and the representatives of different institutions States involved in promoting state policies in various international organizations.
At his turn, the Ambassador James Pettit mentioned that he closely watches social-political developments in Chisinau, expressing his hope that the reforms undertaken by the Government will be implemented successfully and in accordance with the provisions of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.
