Tuition fee in Music and Art schools from Bălți will increase starting 2018
Those who will study arts or music in Bălți will have to pay more. Starting September 2018, the tuition fee will raise by 20%. The new tariffs are set within the municipal budget project for next year, approved by local officials.
Pupils from the Music School will have to pay 250 lei, with 40 lei more than now. While the sole Art School from Bălţi will request 110 lei.
The price represents a fifth of the total expenses, the rest of the money will be paid from the state budget. Despite being displeased, parents claim that they will have to pay the new prices.
Director of "Ciprian Porumbescu" school, claims those money are necessary for the institution to continue activating.
"Expenses and salaries grew. It will help us survive next year. We understand that the tariff rose with 40 lei, but it is necessary for us to be able to continue activating" Director of "Ciprian Porumbescu" school, Ludmila Gheorghiştean declared.
"The calculations were done by the accountants from the Bălți City Hall. Taking into consideration the expenses from last year and the number of pupils, the tuition for the new year is decided" Director of Bălți Art School, Oleg Carp explained.
In Bălți are three Music School and one Art School. In the institution are taught over 1 500 pupils.
