Turkey President paid an official visit to Moldova. What did he warn our authorities about?
Recep Erdogan, the President of Turkey is in an official visit in Moldova. The event is very important, as in the last 24 years, this is the first leader from Ankara who visits us. His Moldovan colleague, Igor Dodon welcomed him.
The two officials had a tete-a-tete meeting. The leader from Ankara was decorated with the highest award in our country, the Order of the Republic (Ordinul Republicii).
The two country leaders signed an agreement to create a strategic cooperation council between the two countries. According to the statistics, in the last 24 years, Turkey offered us 80 million USD.
"We have over 1300 companies that are funded by Turkey. This country ranks third regarding the number of foreign companies in Moldova. We hope that the investments will continue", said Igor Dodon, the President of Moldova.
Recep Erdogan said that two Turkish banks will open headquarters in Moldova. Also, a copy of Stefan cel Mare's sword will arrive in Moldova soon.
"Stefan cel Mare's sword is unique, this is why we can't take it from Topkapi Museum. We made a copy for Romania too. Soon, the copy that we made for you will arrive here", said Recep Erdogan, the President of Turkey.
In his speech, Recep Erdogan warned the Moldovan authorities about the danger of some persons who want to destabilize the situation of our country.
"Some members of a terrorist organization work in our institutions and continue to work in Moldova too. They follow the same steps as in our country", said Recep Erdogan.
During the visit of the Turkey President, PAS, PPDA and PLDM organized a rally at the Turkey Embassy in the Republic of Moldova headquarter. Six years ago, Maia Sandu was attending meetings with Erdogan, when he was a prime minister.
