Two attempts of cigarette smuggling have been stopped at Chisinau International Airport. Totally, 11.000 cigarettes have been seized.

In the both cases, the cigarettes have been revealed in the had luggage. The smuggling attempt has been found out by the K9 of the airport.

The first bag had 8.400 cigarettes and belonged to a passenger of Chisinau-London flight, while the other 2.600 cigarettes have been found in the bag of a passenger travelling to Warsaw.

The cigarettes have been seized, while the man have been fined with 3.250 lei each.
