Two patrol inspectors from Vulcanesti district who were running from CNA officers after they took bribery fell in a hole with their car.

The incident took place a few days ago.

According to a press release of CNA, three patrol inspectors from Vulcanesti district took a 200 USD bribery from a driver, to help him avoid a penal case. The driver announced the police and said he was caught drunk at the wheel a few days ago.

The money were transmitted under the control of Anti corruption officers. The who inspectors were caught at the moment of taking the bribery.

In a short time, the officers caught the third suspect.

The men were detained for 72 hours and there was opened a penal case.

If found guilty, they risk up to 10 years in prison and a 400 thousand lei fine.
