UKRAINE: 6,000 Russian active military fight in Donbas along separatist rebels
About 6,000 Russian servicemen and 35,000 militant troops controlled by Moscow are currently participating in armed hostilities in eastern Ukraine's conflict zone.
Referring to the data provided by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ukrainian Vice Prime Minister for European integration Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze published an infographic showing Russia's direct involvement in Donbas developments.
The infographic shows that apart from local collaborators and Russian mercenaries, several brigades of Russia's Armed Forces are stationed in eastern Ukraine, Ukraine Today reports.
