An infant was found dead in a landfill on Uzinelor street from the Capital. The newborn was found by an employee of the household waste storage facility, who immediately called the police.

According to the woman, the infant was in a plastic bag.

Forensics will soon establish the cause of death. Officers are investigating the case, but claim that it will be rather hard to find the newborn's mother, as trash from the whole Capital is brought to this landfill.

In January, another newborn was found abandoned in a trashcan. At the time the case was not investigated, the reason being abortion.
