Unification of Bessarabia with Romania, marked by a CONCERT. Artists from us and Romania played in Chisinau

On March 27, 101 years have passed since the Union of Bessarabia with Romania. On this occasion, the "Moldovan Youth" Civic Movement organized an open air concert at the "Cascade Scale" in Valea Morilor Park, gathering artists from both sides of the Prut, who delighted the public with different styles of music. more than 200 books were exhibited in the park, and one could choose one or more absolutely free of charge.
With tricolor hands and patriotic songs, dozens of people celebrated the 101th anniversary of the Union of Bessarabia with Romania. this holiday is important for our country.
"For me it is of great importance, because I was born in the Romanian state and I want to die in the Romanian state as well".
"As he writes at the bust of Stephen the Great:" Lord from the mountain, to the sea. And if he writes there, we should unite and have the mountain and the sea and join our brothers".
"I consider myself Romanian and we believe that we must promote union in the Republic of Moldova, find as many people as possible union".
The two hundred books were donated by the brethren across the Prut.
"We made this event to promote the Romanian national values through quality music, Romanian music and books, which everybody can approach to take", said Igor Budeanu, the organizer.
Interpreters from us and across the Prut have sang for free, and some have come on their own initiative.
"Here he speaks Romanian, he feels Romanian. We have the same values, we are referring to the same heroes and to me, the fact that I came back here today is a celebration day", said Maria Gheorghiu, an interpreter.
"Exactly, I have been, I am and will always be a unionist, as long as my family is", said Vasile Fotescu, an interpreter.
On March 27, 1918, the Chisinau Councils approved by 86 votes for, three against and 36 abstentions of the Union of Bessarabia with Romania.
