Today, the entrepreneurs can request 29 out of 150 documents, due to the unique counters. The new digital solution, launched with the support of the World Bank, will facilitate the process of issuing documents for both entrepreneurs and issuing public authorities.
The prime minister said that providing support for the development of the business environment is the goal the Government assumed since taking office, and in order to make social investments and increase pensions, salaries and improve the infrastructure, the authorities have focused on creating a business environment stable and favorable. In this respect, several measures have been taken, including: reducing the number of control institutions, modernizing the Labor Code and simplifying the reporting procedure. At the same time, the priority was given to reduce the number of permissive documents, which gave the economy savings of over 200 million lei yearly.
"We did not only reduced the number of permissive acts, but we also try to provide the convenience to get these documents through the one-stop shop. There are other actions - we finally propose that 100% of the documents be offered via the one-stop shop", said Pavel Filip.
In the context, the Prime Minister stressed that the launch of the counter will increase the efficiency and effectiveness in providing business services, but will also generate savings of 60 million lei for the business. At the same time, requesting online acts will minimize contact with the civil servant, which will help combat corruption and reduce bureaucracy. "I hope that businessmen will feel this relief and go on the path of increasing investments and offering new jobs", concluded the prime minister.
Within the framework of the event, the Automated Information System for managing and issuing permissive documents - unique counter was successfully tested - the first entrepreneur filed an application for a permissive act.
The single electronic counter is accessible on the service.gov.md web-site, where entrepreneurs can submit the application online at any time of the day, from any computer or mobile device. Applicants can also electronically sign documents and pay online fees for obtaining permissive documents.
The databases of 30 public institutions will be connected to this system and will interact online to automatically check agent data without the need for additional certificates. The applicant will receive an automatic confirmation of the registration of the application, followed by notifications regarding each stage of its processing.
