The most active volunteers gathered at a specialized conference and discuss the prospects of their movement these days. They claim that they have been able to develop more and more projects over the past years thanks to the support of Parliament and the Government.
Some representatives of non-governmental organizations met in Parliament.
"The Republic of Moldova recognized the importance and role of volunteer activities 7 years ago in 2010 by voting or approving the Volunteer Law. Even if it is a notion for our society, some still do not know well", it is noble action was declared by Parliament Speaker Andrian Cnadu.
Some dignitaries said they had once activated as volunteers.
"The year 1998, a very difficult year, when we went to the market every day and then to a boarding school in Hincesti, where many disabled girls were stationed, and we were trying to help these little girls who were forgotten by their own parents," the Minister of Health Labor, Stela Grigoraş.
"I think that this activity is not yet understood or it is undesirable in the day-to-day practice of many people. I did not regret for a second, I made out of my heart, guided by the 7 years of my home, "said Valentina Buliga, deputy PDM.
Statistics show that half of volunteers are under the age of 18.
