U.S. Embassy in Moldova suspends its web activity due to lack of funds
U.S. Embassy in Moldova has announced that it will suspend its on-line activity, because of the lack of funds, but, anyway it will continue to offer consultations and issue visas.
"U.S. Embassy in Moldova will continue to offer consultations and issue visas during this period, when it lacks the financial means to continue its activity. The webpage of the Embassy will not be updated until its activity will not resume, with sole exceptions being urgent security and safety messages", U.S. Embassy in Moldova announced.
Federal Government of the United States has partially shut down its activity, starting midnight on Friday, due to lack of funds, after the Senate yielded no agreement between Democrats and Republicans.

Under Senate rules, the bill needs 60 votes in the 100-member chamber.
The Republicans currently have 51 senators, so they need some Democratic support to pass a budget.
The last government shutdown was in 2013, and lasted for 16 days.
