The US state of North Carolina has sent 15 thousand tons of first aid medical supplies, medical equipment and books to rural hospitals, orphanage and the University of Medicine of the Republic of Moldova.
According to the announcement by US officials in North Carolina, 16 pallets contain educational materials for learning English will be donated to school institutions that are part of the partnership project with the state of North Carolina.
Besides, 18 pallets contain medical equipment and first-aid products (surgical masks, syringes, gloves, wheelchairs, baby cots and procedure chairs) are intended for rural hospitals and orphanages. The Moldovan State University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Nicolae Testemitanu" and the Chisinau Medical College will receive the medical training equipment.
