Utility arrears and bank loans are key debts of Moldovans

Not paying for one’s maintenance and one’s bank loans are the most frequent debts the Moldovans incur, as the amount grows by 5-7% on the year.
According to Incaso, a debt-returning company, over 70 % of the Moldovans have debts for utilities.
This type of debts are incurred because it’s difficult to disconnect one’s running water or heating in a block of apartments, without affecting one’s neighbors.
15% of the debtors dealt by Incaso have unpaid loans to banks. Over 11.5% of the Moldovans have debts for mobile telephony.
They also have arrears to state and private institutions.
