The President of the Parliamentary Commission for Social Protection, Health and Family, Valentina Buliga met today with the new Ambassador of Republic of Lithuania to Republic of Moldova, Kęstutis Kudzmanas.
The Deputy welcomed the diplomat in our country and appreciated the good bilateral relations, including interparliamentary cooperation at the level of the standing commissions and friendship group. "I thank the Lithuanian people for their constant support and for maintaining the Republic of Moldova among the priority countries benefiting from development assistance", said Valentina Buliga.
At the same time, the committee chairman spoke about the social-economic situation of the country, migration, initiated reforms and social projects such as "First Home", meal vouchers, social services for children at risk, etc.
In turn, Ambassador Kestutis Kudzmanas reconfirmed Lithuania's interest in strengthening diplomatic, economic, social and cultural relations with the Republic of Moldova. More and more Lithuanian companies and business people are willing to invest and develop business. Soon there will also be a Moldovan-Lithuanian business forum in Chisinau, "the official said.
