Valeriu Ghiletchi revealed whom he wants to make an alliance in the next Parliament
Deputy Speaker of the Parliament and Independent Candidate for the Deputy Position on the Constituency Nr. 51 - The US and Canada, Valeriu Ghiletchi, revealed with whom he would make an alliance after the election, if he win a new mandate.
Asked by whom he would choose to create a new parliamentary majority, Ghiletchi responded directly that he wanted a pro-European alliance and that, under the current political circumstances, it would be beneficial to reset the Alliance for European Integration, noting that this is the only viable alternative for the Republic of Moldova.
"I want an alliance with the ACUM block and with the Democratic Party, along with other independent candidates supporting the European course. I believe that all who honestly support these values and this ideal must be in a parliamentary majority and govern the Republic of Moldova", said Valeriu Ghiletchi in a live on his official Facebook page.
According to the deputy, the European development course of the country has well changed the living standards of the citizens of the Republic of Moldova, giving them a number of opportunities, and the socialists' accession to power would mean the diversion of these positive trends.
The politician made it clear that no political force would be able to obtain a parliamentary majority and would not be able to rule on its own, thus pointing out that sitting at the discussion table of those in the PD, NOW and independent pro-European deputies is, practically the only way to govern the country after the elections.
Even if the political situation in the country is tense and some political actors are stubborn to form such a coalition, the deputy speaker of parliament, Valeriu Ghiletchi, assures he will insist on the creation of a pro-European parliamentary majority after the February 24 elections.
